My lips are thick and big (unlike most Asians...) I always have reservation about the "big red lips" trend, as I feel it might look "too much" on my face. Just decided to experiment with some reddish, but not too crazy-big red lipstick color. So far, I'm liking it. I'm using Makeup Forever, Rouge Artist N31. I like the color. Pretty cute. Just wish that the color can stay longer!
I walked away with a big smile :) Super friendly manicurist ( I got Careen, who is awesome), very clean place/tools ( which is important to me), also nice color collection. I usually use opi, but I decided to try #miniluxe product. The quality was pretty good! Was hoping to get the same nail design @scarletttseng got, but they don't do this complex #daisy #nailart. Careen still managed to put on three cute daisy on my finger tips, and she didn't charge me extra ( Careen is awesome!) I paid only $15 +tips for my awesome color application! What else can I ask for?
I've been to happy feet many times. The #massage here is quite good at #affordable price ($50-60 for one hr). They really press my pressure points instead of just "touching" my back. Highly recommend! #chinesemassage #thaimassage
This Is my first time here, but I'm debating if I will return. Pros: unbeatable price- spa mani/pedi for $34 only, which includes peppermint soaking, scrub, a bit massage, and mani/pedi; cons: limited color selection, not the best mani/pedi technique ( the nail color looks uneven..). Staff are friendly though. I also really like the color. It looks like cotton candy on my finger tips :) #manipedi #manicure #pedicure #nails #pinknail #pink #opi
I went there a while ago. Before Shag, I never had any good experience with the hair salons in Boston. Shag was the only one that I can actually walked away with a smile on my face. I only trimmed my hair, and got cute hair bangs ( must-have for the long winter in Boston)! Love my bangs :) #bangs #cutestyle #winterstyle
I've heard a lot of good things about freshlight, so I decided to give it a try. My natural hair color is black. I tried the champagne pink color. I was hoping to color my hair to more pink/ reddish tone, but the result was still quite dark. The red tone only shows under sunlight. Still a nice color, just not quite the same as what I expected. #freshlight #pink #reddish #coloring
I was lucky enough to have Wu Yilin to cut my hair. It's been one year since my last haircut and 2 years since my last hairdye. Apparently, I am in need of some kind of hair rescue. I didn't have too much thought abt the hairstyle when I sat down. Was just hoping to cut it short and get rid of my damaged hair-end. Wu Yilin was very nice and carefully trimmed my hair layer by layer. We decided to give my hair an autumn tone for the coming fall. They dyed the hair in "ash warm" and added copper/reddish below. Whenever I move, the brighter reddish parts surface. This really gave my hair very different look. I like how the look is subtle but more fun and different, especially when I move. Full disclosure: hair 510 was nice enough to sponsor my haircut. However, They never asked me to write a review for them. I volunteer to write this review to share my experience.
Came here, trying to get a mustache nail art but it was too expensive to afford one ( $55 for nail art and $45 for gel manicure). Decided to switch to a combination of heart ($4/nail) and polka dot ($3/nail) pattern. Like polka dots a lot!. Color was too orange to me. Will try a more pinkish color next time. My manicurist was Selina Wei. She was very nice and friendly. Good at doing polka dots but I wouldn't recommend for the heart Shapes. The salon used OPI product and the process was pretty professional. I spent $45 in total (nail art + express). All my friends think these look super cute ;) will try to do something similar next time.
I got a groupon deal: mani/pedi for $18 I think.TOTALLY worth it!!! No hot selling, good service, a bit cold attitude but that's fine. They use opi product which I like. The color is super cute (I chose two different colors so I paid $4 more, but I live the result)! Overall enjoy it a lot and will come back if I am around the neighborhood!
Got their Groupon voucher for a gel manicure (including a rinse off within a month), and went over- first time there. Service was extremely efficient, and definitely no complains about the end product (beautifully colored nails). I was given some moisturizing product on my hands when the manicure was done- it smelled so good, I had to resist taking a whiff of my hands for the rest of the day! The area is pretty small, just enough space to cater to four customers. A lively, chatty atmosphere, so probably not somewhere you to go if you're looking to relax in quiet. However, during your lunch breaks, or if you don't mind relaxing in chatter, I would recommend this place! Also, no hard selling at all!
This is my first time here. The manicure is ok, nothing too impressive though. A bit pricy i think. Attitude is friendly and nice. I will only come back because I need some urgent manicure done.
i tried their first trial promotion: cleansing facial for $38.the salon is pretty new so everything looks clean and nice. i like the productas well. however, the facial massage was more like"touching" my face instead of "massaging" it. Overall, it was a "ok" massage. i probably wont come back.
This is my first time to PINC. I bought a groupon deal: mani/pedi for $24. The mani/pedi was ok, I do like the color. But for the usual price of $55, I don't think I'll come back. There are several things I don't like about PINC: 1) chemical smell: The store was full of nail polish's chemical smell. I could still smell that chemical smell from my nails after I left the store for 4 hours. I think the nail polish is some cheap brand ( not OPI) and I just can't stand the small. 2) old/ not too clean equipments 3) a bit hot sale: I understand that they'll want me to buy some kind of package. However, trying to promote that before starting painting my nails is just really unnecessary. How will I buy a package without knowing your manicure quality. They'll also try to sell some add-on services (some moisturizing thing), which is also annoying. Although they would stop once I said I am not interested in buying a package, this just sort of ruined the whole experience.
this is the type of place that i would never step in if my local friend didn't take me here. the salon has this tacky decor and it was strangely packed by male customers. take the weird ambience aside, its scalp massage was soooo good! the massage includs hair wash, scalp massage, shoulder and back massage and blow dry. all for only $ 55! totally worth it! i feel totally refresh after this! if you just need a place to get a massage and can ignore its low-taste decor. highly recommend!
